Recipe: Pies with melted cheese

Ingredients:

  • 100 gr. flour
  • 60 gr. margarine
  • 15 gr. yeast
  • 50 ml milk
  • pinch of sugar
  • salt on the tip of a knife
  • egg for brushing pies
  • vegetable oil for greasing the pan

For filling:

  • 50 gr. grated cheese

Cooking method:

  1. Sift the flour and chop with a knife with cold margarine.
  2. Mix yeast with sugar, salt and warm milk. Combine the yeast mixture with flour and knead thoroughly.
  3. Roll out the resulting dough into a layer 3 cm thick and cut into pieces. Roll out the pieces of dough.
  4. Place melted cheese, grated on a fine grater, in the middle of the dough flatbreads.
  5. Form the pies and seal the edges of the dough with a nice seam.
  6. Grease a baking tray with oil.
  7. Place the pies on a baking sheet and let them rise.
  8. Brush the pies with beaten egg.
  9. Bake the pies at 180 degrees for about 15-25 minutes.

Recipe: Pies with poppy seeds and honey

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg flour
  • 1 tbsp. milk
  • 1 pinch each of salt and ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp. l. Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. l. butter
  • 1 tsp. dry yeast
  • lemon zest
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. l. honey
  • 300 gr. poppy
  • a handful of raisins or candied fruits
  • egg white

Cooking method:

  1. Scald the poppy seeds with boiling water and place on a sieve. Boil half the milk with honey.
  2. Add poppy seeds, cinnamon, butter and candied fruits to the milk.
  3. Sift the flour onto the table.
  4. Mix yeast with sugar and dissolve in the remaining warm milk.
  5. Chop flour with butter, eggs, sugar and lemon zest. Add the yeast mixture and knead the dough.
  6. Leave the dough for 30 minutes in a warm place.
  7. Roll the dough into an oblong loaf and then cut into pieces.
  8. Roll out each piece and brush with whipped egg white.
  9. Spread the poppy seed filling over the dough and roll into a tight roll.
  10. Place poppy seed pies on a greased baking sheet.
  11. Bake poppy seed pies for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees.

Recipe: Pies with green onions

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3/4 tbsp. water

For filling:

  • 250 gr. green onions
  • dill, parsley
  • 50 gr. melted butter
  • pepper

Cooking method:

  1. Knead the ingredients into a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 10 parts. Place the dough pieces in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Finely chop the onion.
  4. Melt the butter. Place the onion in the oil and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Chop the greens and add to the onions.
  6. Place the onion filling in a bowl and let cool. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
  7. Remove the dough from the refrigerator.
  8. Roll out pieces of dough into flat cakes.
  9. Spread the onion filling over the flatbreads. Make pies from the dough, carefully pinching the edges.
  10. Fry the pies in a frying pan for 1-3 minutes on each side.

Recipe Potato pies with sausages

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. l. margarine
  • 2-3 tbsp. l. flour
  • 1 tbsp. l. starch
  • 5 sausages
  • 2 tbsp. l. breadcrumbs

Cooking method:

  1. Peel the potatoes and boil until tender in salted water.
  2. Make mashed potatoes.
  3. Cool slightly and stir in eggs, salt, margarine, flour and starch into the puree.
  4. Knead the potato dough.
  5. Form potato dough into balls.
  6. Mash the balls into flat cakes.
  7. Place sausages without casing on flatbreads.
  8. Make pies from the potato mixture, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in vegetable oil.
