PIES: simple and easy recipes
Recipe: Pies with melted cheese
Ingredients:
- 100 gr. flour
- 60 gr. margarine
- 15 gr. yeast
- 50 ml milk
- pinch of sugar
- salt on the tip of a knife
- egg for brushing pies
- vegetable oil for greasing the pan
For filling:
Cooking method:
- Sift the flour and chop with a knife with cold margarine.
- Mix yeast with sugar, salt and warm milk. Combine the yeast mixture with flour and knead thoroughly.
- Roll out the resulting dough into a layer 3 cm thick and cut into pieces. Roll out the pieces of dough.
- Place melted cheese, grated on a fine grater, in the middle of the dough flatbreads.
- Form the pies and seal the edges of the dough with a nice seam.
- Grease a baking tray with oil.
- Place the pies on a baking sheet and let them rise.
- Brush the pies with beaten egg.
- Bake the pies at 180 degrees for about 15-25 minutes.
Recipe: Pies with poppy seeds and honey
Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg flour
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 1 pinch each of salt and ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp. l. Sahara
- 1 tbsp. l. butter
- 1 tsp. dry yeast
- lemon zest
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp. l. honey
- 300 gr. poppy
- a handful of raisins or candied fruits
- egg white
Cooking method:
- Scald the poppy seeds with boiling water and place on a sieve. Boil half the milk with honey.
- Add poppy seeds, cinnamon, butter and candied fruits to the milk.
- Sift the flour onto the table.
- Mix yeast with sugar and dissolve in the remaining warm milk.
- Chop flour with butter, eggs, sugar and lemon zest. Add the yeast mixture and knead the dough.
- Leave the dough for 30 minutes in a warm place.
- Roll the dough into an oblong loaf and then cut into pieces.
- Roll out each piece and brush with whipped egg white.
- Spread the poppy seed filling over the dough and roll into a tight roll.
- Place poppy seed pies on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake poppy seed pies for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
Recipe: Pies with green onions
Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp. flour
- a pinch of salt
- 3/4 tbsp. water
For filling:
- 250 gr. green onions
- dill, parsley
- 50 gr. melted butter
- pepper
Cooking method:
- Knead the ingredients into a dough.
- Divide the dough into 10 parts. Place the dough pieces in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
- Finely chop the onion.
- Melt the butter. Place the onion in the oil and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Chop the greens and add to the onions.
- Place the onion filling in a bowl and let cool. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
- Remove the dough from the refrigerator.
- Roll out pieces of dough into flat cakes.
- Spread the onion filling over the flatbreads. Make pies from the dough, carefully pinching the edges.
- Fry the pies in a frying pan for 1-3 minutes on each side.
Recipe Potato pies with sausages
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. l. margarine
- 2-3 tbsp. l. flour
- 1 tbsp. l. starch
- 5 sausages
- 2 tbsp. l. breadcrumbs
Cooking method:
- Peel the potatoes and boil until tender in salted water.
- Make mashed potatoes.
- Cool slightly and stir in eggs, salt, margarine, flour and starch into the puree.
- Knead the potato dough.
- Form potato dough into balls.
- Mash the balls into flat cakes.
- Place sausages without casing on flatbreads.
- Make pies from the potato mixture, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in vegetable oil.
